A series of cationic surface active monomers of acrylamide are prepared using a kind of polymerizable acrylamide monomer with brominated alkanes of different carbon chains as materials so as to changing the length of carbon chain of hydrophobic group. The product was identified by IR and 1H⁃NMR. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) and surface tension at CMC value (γCMC) was measured with methods of surface tension and conductibity measures; the solubility of surfactants (AMQC8,AMQC12, AMQC16) was determined by UV spectrophotometry at the same time. The experiment results show that with the growth of hydrophobic carbon chain, critical micelle concentration (CMC) was decreased gradually; the trend of Krafft temperature was gradually rising.

Calix[4]arene Sulfonic Acid Sodium was used as a non homogenous catalyst for synthesis of nButyl acetate using acetic acid and nbutyl alcohol as raw materials. The effects of reaction conditions, such as the quantity of catalyst, the ratio of the reactants and reaction time were discussed respectively. The product was characterized by index of refraction. The suitable conditions for the reaction were as follows: acetic acid 0.1 mol, molar ratio of nbutyl alcohol to acetic acid 1.2, catalyst amout 1 g, reaction time 4 h, the yield of nbutyl acetate can reach 81.41%. The catalyst could be used repeatedly keeping its initial activity.

PETcISMA was prepared from PET which modified by copolyester of isosorbide/maleic anhydride through reactive extrusion. PETcISMA had the similar θg and θm as that of PET and a single phase structure from thermal gravity analysis. PETcISMA with the maximum amount of 30% ISMA could remain the thermal properties of PET. PETcISMA shows higher crystal property than PET for the presence of θc from 125 ℃ to 130 ℃, and hence improved the process characteristics by changing the crystal degree of PETcISMA. Moreover, PETcISMA possessed higher water resistance, better stability in acid or alkaline medium and biodegradation.

4-Methoxybenzophenone was synthesized from Fridel-crafts acylation of anisole and benzoyl chloride using iodine as catalyst. The effects of reactant ratio, amount of catalyst used, reaction temperature and time were investigated. The suitable reaction conditions were optimized as: anisole was 0.1 mol, anisole / benzoyl chloride mole ratio was 1.0∶1.5, catalyst usage was 1.5 g, reaction temperature was 140 ℃, reaction time was 4 h. The highest yield of 61.68 % is obtained.

p-tert-Butylcalix[4]arene was synthesized by p-tert-butylphenol and aldehyde using alkali as catalyst. An appropriate amount of ethyl acetate was added as a water carrier and the diphenyl ether was recycled as solvent.A mount of ethyl acetate and recycle times of diphenyl ether which effect on the yield of product were investigated. The results show that the addition of ethyl acetate can make the products yield increase, the dehydration time shorten and the reaction controleasily.Recycle times of diphenyl ether has significant effect on the products yield. The yield increased to 73% whendiph enylether was reused 3 times. The improved method can shorten reaction time and increase the yield of products. In addition, the effect of the catalyst K

Supported heteropolyacid is not only conveniently used to separate catalyst from reaction system, but also to heterogenize of the homogenous reaction.Different methods were used to prepare the supported heteropolyacid, which catalyze
anisole and acetic anhydride to synthesis p -acetylanisole.The effects of HPW amount and calcined temperature to the catalytic activity were studied. The results showed that catalysts exhibited the best catalytic performance and the product yield is 68.5%,using adsorption method, catalyst 1 g,anisole 1 mol, molar ratio of anisole and acetic anhydride1:1.5,loading 40% amount of HPW and calcining at 150
℃
.Experiments of catalysis recycle illuminate that the catalysis could be reused, whereas the catalytic activity was connected with treated temperature and circumfluence time. The supported heteropolyacid was charactered by infrared spectra (IR) and X-ray diffraction spectrum (XRD).
